# Google-chrome package doesn't seem to work

Installing google-chrome doesn’t seem to actually install it. Steps to reproduce (output suppressed):

```bash
$ rm -rf .flox
$ flox init
$ flox activate
flox [flox-test]# flox -v install google-chrome
flox [flox-test]# google-chrome
bash: google-chrome: command not found

```

The package installs google chrome as `google-chrome-stable`.

This is a result of the nix build description, which is based on the upstream debian package: [nixpkgs/pkgs/by-name/go/google-chrome/package.nix at nixos-24.05 · NixOS/nixpkgs · GitHub](https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/blob/nixos-24.05/pkgs/by-name/go/google-chrome/package.nix#L211)

for reference, you can check what binaries are installed in your environment with

```auto
ls .flox/run/*.run/bin

```
