Beginner question: Flox and Fedora

I am not sure if Flox is only for NixOS, or it can be used on other Linux variants. I use Fedora 39 Desktop Version, and I use dnf, homebrew, flatpak.

Is it possible (and/or recommended) to install on existing Fedora installation without disturbing packages from dnf?

Welcome! Should be fine to install without disturbing packages from dnf. Flox’s packages are installed in a nix store path and won’t interfere with system-installed packages.
