Hi everyone! Today we’re announcing two new credential types for FloxHub: Service Account Tokens and Personal Access Tokens.
Until now, the only way to authenticate setups was to grab a token from interactive CLI sessions for non-interactive use cases. Those CLI authentication tokens come with a fixed lifetime you couldn’t change, and there was no good way to revoke or replace them. The day one expired, your pipeline stopped.
That’s fixed with the new credentials. Both personal and service tokens can now be revoked whenever you need, and revocation kicks in on the very next request. Deleting a service account also invalidates every token that was ever issued to it, cleanup is one step.
