Installing MacOS full-GUI apps

Hi once again,

I’m revisiting this part of Flox after reading some of the flox blogs and saw examples of installing GUI apps with Flox (for example, iTerm2, Slack, etc). In my testing, installing these with flox will install just fine, but it doesn’t register them as apps within MacOS - meaning that there won’t be an icon for them in the launchpad. Those 2 apps in particular are ones that I have the icons pinned to the Dock for quick access.

Is there some way to make this work? I’m using Homebrew for these right now, and wouldn’t mind moving them over to Flox.

I believe what you are referring to has been identified in this issue. Would you mind having a look and if you agree +1 it so you are updated when we append / work on that one?
